Australia selected the incorrect team, in Michael Kasprowicz’s opinion, for the fourth Test in Ahmedabad.
Australia kept to their guns and chose the same XI with three spinners again taking the field with only one front-line fast bowler in Mitchell Starc after winning the third Test in Indore.
Kasprowicz thinks Australia made a mistake by not choosing an assault with “at least three fast bowlers” while the Test is currently four days old, 1054 runs have been scored, and just 20 wickets have been taken.
Kasprowicz, a key member of the Australian team that last won a Test series in India in 2004, thinks the visitors should have selected a team similar to the one he played in and was successful with.
